Sharif Lauds Military as Pakistan Urges Restraint Amid Ceasefire Strain with India

Pakistan reaffirmed its stance on the recent ceasefire agreement with India, with the foreign ministry emphasizing a “faithful implementation” of the deal. This statement was released late Saturday night, shortly after both countries accused each other of violating the ceasefire. The ministry insisted Pakistan remained committed to the pact despite fresh tensions.

The Pakistani government accused Indian forces of violating the truce in multiple, though unspecified, areas. While not offering specific examples, the ministry underlined that Pakistan's armed forces responded with measured discipline.
